We then jumped right in and installed a Vortech supercharger which in the end gave the Marauder a bump of over 150 Horsepower and 150 Foot Pounds of Torque! Now that we had the power in the car it was time to bring everything else up to par! A full Kooks header/exhaust package was installed to let the supercharged air out easier and give the car an exhaust note to let other motorists know this Marauder means business! A Willwood Big Brake Kit was then installed to make sure the Marauder would be able to stop with all of its new found power! An incredible sound system including the top of the line Pioneer Navigation System and Digital Designs Amplifiers and Subwoofer was installed and sounded nothing short of amazing. From there it was off to paint and interior .
The outside color chosen was Ferrari Metallic Black (Nero Daytona). The color was to keep the Marauder similar to stock (Black), while adding a pop with the metallic and pearl found in this beautiful Ferrari color! The hood now has a custom functional hood scoop to aid in cooling the supercharged 4.6L that now lies beneath it and cosmetic side grills were added to further set his Marauder apart. The customer requested that we keep the interior near stock to preserve the Marauder feel. To accomplish this, worn parts were replaced, interior panels were dyed to bring life back, and cracked leather was replaced.
With the car back from paint and interior it was time for the finishing touches. Custom billet door entry guards, custom mats and other little bits really helped bring the build together. However the final piece to the puzzle was the ISS Forged FS6 custom 3 piece wheels. These would be the first set made by ISS especially with the custom touches we had done. With a gloss black center, gloss black inner and outer lip, red pinstripe, and hidden bolts, SA and ISS nailed it. The customer wanted a clean 6 spoke wheel and that is exactly what we delivered wrapped nicely in Pirelli Pzero tires.
We here at Serious Autosport could not be happier with the way this project turned out. It took a lot of hard work from our employees and our vendors to get it done, but was well worth it. This is by far the nicest and most unique Marauder in South Florida if not the country. It has it all with nothing left untouched and will turn heads wherever it goes for a long time. Most important, Vince is extremely happy with the vehicle and already has thoughts of another project for the future! Until then, enjoy your "SERIOUS MARAUDER" Vince!
